Yin Yoga & Mindfulness classes
Yin yoga is a style of yoga which is rooted in Chinese Medicine and Toasist Philosophy, combined with an approach to a yoga practice that considers our unique physiological make up over an aesthetic ideal, making it a very democratic and healing practice.
Well propped floor poses are held for up to 5 minutes a time in order to slowly traction tight connective tissues to allow them to yield. The longer time spent in the poses allows the practitioner to really let go and relax into the postures. This combined with the assistance of the teacher who will guide you through various breathing and mindfulness techniques to help keep you grounded and explore your inner space.
This practice is the perfect antidote to our fast paced modern lives and the perfect way to balance out a stressful day. It is also notably beneficial for common pathologies such as back pain and sciatica.
Multi level Yoga Flow classes
Combining strength, mobility and flexibility training along with moments of mindfulness and relaxation. These classes are suitable for mixed level participants and offer a gentle stretch and workout suited to all body and fitness types.
A great option for those who need to move a bit more in their working day. With fun team building elements such as partner yoga sometimes included.
